Mariachi Viva Mexico was founded by Humberto (Beto) Guillen in 1994 in the western suburbs of Portland Oregon. Beto is originally from Guadalajara, the capital of Jalisco Mexico, where this incredible music originates from.
Since then, this Mariachi has performed in many private and public celebrations like weddings, quinceañeras, and birthday parties, to festivals, fairs, and major sporting events throughout the Northwest and Western United States. Mariachi Viva Mexico has also been invited to participate in many important musical projects including the recording and composition of the music to a nationally televised Nike commercial.
This musical trajectory has opened up opportunities to do the live musical accompaniment of many of the top Latin Mariachi artists in the world. On this list are: Antonio Aguilar, Pepe Aguilar, Pedro Fernandez. Paquita La Del Barrio, Jenny Rivera, Pablo Montero, Ezequil Peña, Beatriz Adriana, Juan Valentin, Lupillo Rivera and many others.
